Landscaped and constructed by: DIY Garden Design students

This garden demonstrates a sustainable approach to planting with a commitment to education. The intention of the garden is to highlight the possibilities of a DIY garden; educating the public with respect to plant choices and colour combinations with an emphasis on water zoning requirements which are so fundamental to our water stressed country.
By zoning your plants according to their water needs you can fine-tune your watering schedules thereby preventing over watering and water wastage. The garden is mass planted with mostly long-flowering perennials to make this garden manageable.
We hope that our garden inspires the home owner to experiment with DIY designing.
